Orientation for new employees occurs every two weeks. Since we happened to get here on the off week, we had to wait until today to have our official orientation. It was a lot of things that didn’t really pertain to us but some of it was interesting. We spent most of our day doing that and then we went home and worked on our Community Assessment Project that is due pretty soon. We will be presenting it to the staff before we leave Kayenta. I am sooo exhausted today from all of the weekend excitement. It’s only 8:45 here and I’m already in bed. Sorry I don’t have anything really exciting to write about tonight. Tomorrow I will be going out with someone from environmental health to see some of the things that they do so that should be interesting. 🙂 One exciting thing that happened today was that we discovered that one of our neighbors has a little lamb in their front yard. Haha Every time we walk past, it comes running over to us! It’s so cute!! It shares a yard with two big dogs and they all play together. 🙂
